"Timmy's Things" | Animator
Many months after the loss of her son Timmy, Vixen attempts to pack his things away without breaking down, but internal obstacles and memories make it difficult.
"Fast Escape" | Animator, Environment/Lighting, Compositor
Blu and Ryu are stuck between colliding worlds, each seeking to return to their own. Blu’s polished animation and acting counters that of Ryu, who stays true to retro low-poly idle/walk cycles, hitting invisible collider walls and sliding on the floor.
"Horse Walk Cycle (Rizz)" | Animator, Environment/Lighting, Compositor
While technically a practice in a horse walk cycle, this proud fella and his rider think they've got all the rizz (swagger) in all the land. Just check out those looks they give their audience at the end!
"Flight of the Dragon" | Animator, Environment/Lighting, Compositor
Both a creature pantomime and a fly cycle, this project demonstrates the study of real-life animals for the purpose of making fantasy seem lifelike. I studied bats, geese, birds of prey, reptiles, and panthers for reference.
"Quadruped Walk Cycle" | Animator
For this animation test, I analyzed live tigers at my local zoo as well as my own cats to capture true-to-life movement and weight. I incorporated subtle details such as toe flop and the counterweight balance of the tail position.
